Not confirmed yet, but both teams will receive BCS Bowl bids (Miami automatic for winning Big East, Ohio State gets an at-large bid, but actually automatic for finishing in Top 6 of the BCS Poll).
The Orange Bowl will take Miami, and has first choice of the at-large bids. Who really thinks they'd bypass OSU and set up a Miami/Texas game or a Miami/Kansas State game?
That would be a fun game....and Miami would have (what kind of amounts to) a home game with more fans from the visiting team in the stands!
Plus, I was going to have a fundraiser for OSU's National Championship game, but had to cancel it (nobody wants to go to a Citrus Bowl fundraiser)....now I can get a large attendance again!!!!!!
On eidt - on a side note, when was the last time Texas fans cheered for Oklahoma to win??? They will this weekend, when Oklahoma plays Kansas State. Why?? Well, the Big 12 gets an automatic BCS Bowl bid, and Oklahoma has already guaranteed a Sugar Bowl bid. If KSU beats Oklahoma, KSU gets the Big 12 bid, Oklahoma still goes to the Sugar Bowl, and Texas gets shut out of the BCS, losing their at-large bid under unusual circumstances.
