It was far from a great film...but the scenes between BIlly Bob and this pathetic fat kid were funny and often sweet. It could have been a great film.... Overall, stilll better than most and a greaet antidote to typical christmas saccarin b.s.
Anyone else see it?

1. I saw it and laughed a lot, too. |

Not great, but lots of laughs, and a sweet ending. Mrs. Santa's sister has me out shopping for a Santa costume. Hubba!

2. I saw it, and liked it |

but I couldn't believe my eyes when the lights went up and a few rows in front of me was a family who had brought their girl, aged maybe 8. What is WRONG with these people? It reminded me of when I went to see Saving Private Ryan and saw a couple with their two boys, aged maybe 6 and 7. They should've been ticketed for bad parenting if you ask me.

3. Maybe they didn't read any reviews. |

This is definitely NOT a kid's movie.

8. I hear you. I cant believe how retarded some parents are.... |
|
I've seen them bring 3 yr. olds to a horrifically violent movie.... I'd watch the kids sit there, transfixed by the violence... Some people are just fcked up.
I mean this film is called Bad Santa... who would take a kid? It's rated R.

4. I loved it, but couldn't figure out one thing. |

Why did the Indian guy try and beat up Billy Bob? Am I the only one who kept waiting for that to be explained?
Other than that, the movie was hilarious. I think the 'elf' actually was the star of the movie more so than 'Santa'.

7. I'm guessing he had "issues" with a previous Santa. |
|
That's all I could gather from the scene.

I like the total randomness of the fat kid making a wooden pickle for Billy Bob.
All the santa/kid interaction stuff cracked me up...

Anything with Billy Bob Thornton is usually hilarious and/or bizarre.

6. I thought it was great. |

It made me laugh when Santa would get so mad at the kids, like he really took everything personal. "Get this kid away from me, he's freakin' me out."
