Writing a cover letter for a job I have a good chance at getting. Trying to figure out if I should mention I know some of the staff there because my buddy did his internship there and I hung out with them...don't want them to remember my buddy and give him a call. (COld yes but it's dog eat dog in this game)

I didn't go home for Turkey Day and I missed a big party that my friend held on Friday, cause I was halfway across the country.x(

I have so much to do. I took 2 days off work to get it done, and all I want to do is sit here, then take a nap, and then sit here some more.

Oh, also, is it possible for someone to have my colonoscopy for me? Today I had to go to the drug store, get my colonoscopy prep phospasodasomething, and a new stopper for my cane. I felt about 75 years old.

Still, I am feeling much like crap on a stick too. Dammit. Makes me mad, I never get sick. :grr: When we went to KY for the holiday, we visited my friend and all 3 of her kids had the snot funk and fevers. And being that kids are sooooo generous with their germs... :eyes:

15. Man it sucks going back to work after a week of vacation

and technically I don't work on Mondays (I work 4 10 hour days.)

So now it really sucks.

But I got alot done for getting my monthend reports done. So as much as it sucked - I'll be happy to get this mess off my plate before the week ends (it's due on the 7th, but since the 7th is a Monday they expect it on friday)

I'm around... I think we must have just missed each other in passing.

I spent the better part of last week and part of the T'giving weekend tearing out the old drywall ceiling of our garage and installing a NEW drywall ceiling (and pink insulation) in our garage. What fun.

18. My children are awesome and lots of things

My daughter is in 6th grade and on the "leadership team" at her school which is like a big student government thing. She's a representative for a couple hundred students. My son is in second grade and just won a local art/short essay contest (out of a few hundred kids) with a theme of world peace.
I have finals coming up and I'm nervous and I'm officially applying to a couple of nursing programs for next year.
Health issues with my husband are on my mind.

Maybe it's the shorter days, maybe it's the holidays, but if it can be worried about, I'm right there.
