16. How about just slapping the recording industry

and what passes for commercial radio these days. (Clear Channel and its minions.) I rarely listen to commercial radio since we have great alternative radio in my town. Although a lot of these folks mentioned are not my cup of tea, the recording industry built and marketed them.
