I was pissed when Food Network put this stupid "Ham on the Street" show after Alton's on Wednesdays. They used to have Alton for a whole hour. :grr:

Havent tried any of the recipes yet but I'm going to. I'm hungry for some good broth now damn Alton! They need a marathon of Good Eats. Going to email foodtv about it now.

4. Besides me having the hots for him, his shows are incredibly

educational. I love knowing the sciences behind cooking and what goes on with it and how certain things work.

13. I LOVE telling people, "No, espresso has LESS caffeine in it

than light coffee. Of course I'm right! Roasting the beans dries out the oil. Alton said so." I said this about once a week.... fascinating stuff on his shows.
