Poll question: Best Documentary: Your pick? |
|
Tough (I could pick among THREE this year?)--but my choice is "Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room" which managed to be incredibly entertaining as well as informative.

1. March of the Penguins is the only one I have seen. |
|
On another note, on my first glance at the thread title, I added a letter to "pick" that simply did not belong there....

2. For UK DUers, "Murderball" is on BBC4 this Saturday |

I haven't seen any of those yet - because of the shitness of where I live I've got to wait for DVD for anything that isn't a major studio flick - so I can't vote. You may be pleased to know that Emma Thompson picked "Enron" as her favorite film of 2005 (which was the first time I'd heard about it).
Out of interest, have you seen "Rize"? Given all the good press it got I was suprised it didn't get nominated.

I loved it, but have to admit I've not seen any of the others yet.
