Did You Know That Larry King Was Once Just Like Randi Rhodes?
Yep. Back in the day, Larry King had a super liberal talk show. Before he got his CNN talk show, Larry was a strong, strong liberal. He'd take on right wingers all of the time. I use to listen to him as I went to sleep.

1. So was Tom Leykis
Unfortunately, Leykis dropped his liberal radio talk show in favor of a shock/misogyny mix that would make Howard Stern take pause.

But before that, Leykis had a solidly kick-ass liberal show, about the time of the Republican takeover of Congress in '94-'95. His tagline was "A radio talk show not hosted by a right-wing wacko or convicted felon! No!". He kicked any right-winger's ass who called in.

The change for the worse began when he started devoting one part of his show to dating questions. Soon, that segment started to overshadow the politics, and with the ratings it garnered, he never looked back. Damn shame, because I can't stand him now, but before he introduced his battle-of-the-sexes schtick, he kicked Malloy's ass. Which isn't hard to do.

Nowadays, I am into Rhodes and Miller.

5. It's true. He was awesome. He ripped them to shreds.
I think he changed his ways so he could get all of the big-time guests. It was a career decision.
