Tim Burton fans: Anyone prefer "Corpse Bride" to "Nightmare?"
Though it received glowing reviews, "Corpse Bride" is still considered the lesser effort by most Burton/animation aficionados. Again, I find myself in the minority: fond as I am of "Nightmare Before Christmas," I thought "Corpse Bride" had a more genuine pathos, and boasted the wittier script.

Waddya think?

1. Tough choice.
I couldn't argue with anyone who preferred either.

2. The music makes all of the difference.
I liked the Corpse Bride and thought that the relationships between the main characters were more realistic. However, the music and the mood of Nightmare Before Christmas was far superior. The music in the Corpse Bride was terrible :hide:, while Nightmare was more cohesive and creepily fun. Not a lot of fun in Corpse Bride.
