Whoa! I think that's the first time I've ever seen lightning and heard

thunder in a SNOW storm!

I know it happens, but out of the many hundreds of snow storms I've been though, it's a first for me.

1. We had a good "thundersnow" in 1999

It was awesome. Huge lightning, loud thunder, and just pouring down snow.

3. I've heard thunder while it's snowing.

But since I live in the Catskills :shrug: I thought it was just Rip Van Winkle bowling through the mountains.

We used to get it in Iowa. We don't even get snow here.

We also had sun dogs in Iowa, which are the coolest things in the world.
