The Mariners and the Pads share the spring training facility in Peoria, so they play each other quite a bit during spring.

So it is a similar situation...there is some sort of Fort Myers award that goes to the team which wins more ST games.

I watched the Twins game on TV...one of these years I need to get to Fort Myers during Spring Training.

12. That was a horrible inning!

The pitcher (Bryan Corey, whom the crowd called #99 since he wasn't on the roster we had) had no clue -- just kept throwing it right down the middle and the A's just kept hitting it. The crowd started shouting "Go back to Iowa" or "back to single-A."

It was about 80°, slight breeze, sunny sky. I forgot my sunscreen so I'm definitely burned.

What pissed me off though was that dogs are now $5 and beer, not even good beer, is $6. I have a real hard time with that -- it's price gouging pure and simple.
