11. It's hard to never have conflict

I find I have the biggest fights nearly exclusively with the people I'm closest with. Intense romantic relationships, especially, I think, are bound to have little bumps in the road--for me, the key has always been to not hold a grudge, remember that I love her, and keep in mind that there's about a 99.99% chance that we'll be joking about it tomorrow. There's definitely no such thing as that "perfect" relationship with absolutely zero conflict.

Anyway, I know it's not fun--hang in there.

it was over why I wouldn't tell him the name of our mutual friend that we talk to on AIM. She accidentally told me hers, and she requested me not to tell him.

kyle and i share everything-- I WANTED to tell him but I was asked--twice--not to tell others her name. He got upset that i didn't tell him.

Shouldn't a request from an SO trump an anonymous friend? Except that you already agreed (or promised) to the first request, so your own honor trumps the 2nd request.

That is not so silly since it involves things like trust and honor. He should not have persisted once he heard that you promised. By why is this person so concerned about remaining nameless?
