14. If you have the self-control...
You stash two boxes away until October, and when people are Jonesing for them really bad, you can sell them for $20 bucks a box.

I, alas, have no self-control.

17. If you know where to shop, you can find them all year
In St Louis area, the Missouri girl scouts sell cookies in the spring, but the Illinois girl scouts sell them in the fall. If you know people on both sides of the river, you are set for the whole year.

31. That's probably a violation of the Patriot Act...
Transporting cookies across state lines. This is Dick Cheney's America, after all.

16. Two boxes of shortbread, one of lemon cookies -- ALL GONE!
But I lost weight last week. HOW??? is this some kind of new diet? Do 45 minutes of cardio five times and week, eat shortbread cookies every night while watching TV, and see the weight melt off...

I could so live with that...

4. One box of Thin Mints, one box of Samoas, one box of Trefoils
All gone, no tummy complaints.

I don't eat the Thin Mints, just the Trefoils, but hubby and the kids downed the box in a couple of days without complaints.

10. Here's the deal with tagalogs
They look great, and they taste great...for about 6 cookies. Then you start wishing you got more Thin Mints instead of the tagalogs.

12. There is a box in our office
and normally food here disappears within the day.
But the box of thin mints has been here for about 3 weeks and is still half full.
Most unsuccessful office food ever.

13. Lots
(Former GS leader/advisor...how could I not?) Which baker does your area use? There are 4 licensed to produce GS cookies at any one time and there have been some really bad ones.

Luckily, not in this area and the thin mints are better than they've been in years.
