It is sofa king cold here!
:scared:

Okay, I know some of you will tell me it's -80 degrees C where you are with a windchill of -2K and all the nitrogen has liquefied out of the air...

Apparently it was six below zero last night, and that's plenty cold enough for me. I was so cold walking to the station I thought my face might fall off! (And then I boiled when I got into the nice warm train).

1. No sympathy
Ask TJ or Xema - either would be happy to warm you up.

Me - I'm not talking to you right now. Beige?!?!?! In fact I'm repenting of my Billyskank Appreciation thread. I'm gonna post a thread of "Why We All Hate Billy And Hope He Freezes To Death".

:)

Khash.

(I'm joking people! I don't really want him to freeze!)

3. The beige thang?
Xema told me everything you own is beige. And though she thinks the world of you, she asked me if she should break up with you (again) since obviously you have no taste.

I said you just need a woman to teach you better. She said "Oh, I'll teach him!"

You've got a tiger by the tail, dude. You might wanna consider the benefits of freezing to death :)

Khash.

5. Oh, I don't think that's fair
The only beige things I have are my sofa, chairs, cushions, and my whole flat!

She considered breaking up with me on grounds of poor taste in interior decoration? What if I cannot meet her high standards?

I searched and couldn't find any posts by Xema containing the word "beige." ;)

26. It was in a PM
A little private conversation between me and her. But I thought I would share that with you so you can straighten up your act.

Don't think it's true? I've never seen your flat or even pictures of it. So the Billy/Beige thang must come from inside information, eh?

At this point Khash will butt out of the Xema/Billy love affair. It's none of my business and TJ's getting mad at me.....

But beige??????

Khash.

27. Ok.... I'll try.
I don't much like your wrath.
It's never a sort of "I'm angry, now let's make love like crazed, rabid dogs" wrath.
It's always more like " Khash should grovel at my feet and apologize. Profusely." kinda wrath.

And I'm always nice to billy - between me, you and Xema the boy is drowning in love. I just happen to hide it better. And who was it who started the billyskank apprecetian thread? Was it TJWMason? No? Was it Khashka? That sounds right.

But fair's fair - if I can watch you flirt with him, then you can watch me tease him. Wrath, indeed!

Khash.

Heck with the folks used to living in below zero temps. I'm not, and neither are you. I've had to thaw myself out so many times over the past month it's not funny!

When you walk outside, and can feel the air gripping onto one's cheeks (just make sure that you've used moisturiser beforehand).

19. I'm a hold-out for old measures.
The metric system just doesn't work as well for practical things (especially cooking) - so here's a :toast: to metric backwardness.

22. I bought a cookbook once, and kicked myself for not perusing
the measurements. It has turned out to be one of my favorites, but I line it up next to my good old Betty Crocker with the metric conversion table inside the front cover. :hi:

I was just missing you!

I think my car is supposed to be ready today, but it's not practicable for me to pick it up. I caught the train in again - made it to work for 8:40 as well, not bad! :bounce:

I will pick up my car tomorrow morning.

 again! :loveya:

16. I have just been kind of "out of sorts". My grandma went by ambulance
to the ER last night. She says she cannot walk and that she fell...They can't find anything wrong with Xray and CT Scan. They're going to call a psych consult in today, because she refused to walk last night. Her vitals are all normal. She's been this way since my grandfather died.Always deathly ill, and they can't find anything wrong with her. Very sad, very tiring. :( :hi: :loveya:

23. It's ever so much more of the same. We've gotten quite used to it,
it is just sad to see a vital woman behaving in such a manner. She was always quite independent, but, looking back, we now think she has suffered from anorexia her whole life. She is 5'6" and weighs about 79 pounds. I wish I were a better person. I've gotten too cynical with regard to her. Thanks billy...

28. It's pretty mild here; -80C
with a windchill of -2000.

Actually, it was -17C this am; but it warmed up to around -7. :P

You have guts, my dear, haranging on about -6 degree weather with a bunch of northerners.

Did I ever mention the night, just a couple of weeks ago, when it was -25? With a windchill of -35? And guess who had to go out, in their car with the wonky (ie barely working) heater?
Cue the violins!! :nopity:

by people claiming it was three degrees below absolute zero outside...

All I care about is, it's colder outside than it is in my fridge! That makes it fucking cold in my book!

32. It was only meant
as a good natured ribbing. Re-reading my post, I could see that it could be taken as quite sarcastic. (btw, I should have made more clear the violins were for my troubles...after all, it isn't a very good idea to have a wonky car heater in a climate like this. I'm afraid the cost of fixing that heater may be more than the car is worth, and I can't afford another one at the moment)

A gene flaw in Canadians...teasing others about cold weather.

Sorry.
