2. I'm 42 and I've been to Mardi Gras 40 times

This was the most moving year. Everybody was nice to each other. Lots of thank yous from the crowd to the floats and vice versa. I love New Orleans and I love the people. Best bunch on earth. So much courage and life left in them.

Edited to say I'm in Hock up my ass now, but at least I had couch to sleep on down there. A lot people wanted to go but couldn't because of the lack of hotel rooms.

I was dressed all in red like a devil woman with horns and a tail in a red mini skirt and sequined top and I shouted "Give the devil his due!" And they did. Got tons of stuff to give away now.
