How a bad day turned good
Okay, when I woke up this morning I was flat broke until next payday (the 15th) and I had done a very mediocre job on an interview I went on yesterday. I really wanted the position too. I was mad at myself for getting flustered over a question that was asked of me. I drew a blank and sat there babbling like a jerk. I kicked myself the whole way home and tossed and turned all night.

Then when I got to work this AM I checked my balance and my tax refund had come. Whew!

THEN I got an email from the company asking me to come in next week for a second interview! I'm so happy about it. Apparently my "thank you" email helped make up for my "Bush-like" verbal bumbling.

Good weekend ahead after all! Hooray!
