Sex & the City-- how does it end?????
Been following this program every nite on our local station for several months now... never saw original showing on HBO.

Story line had been building up towards an ending or climax (pun intended teehee) and then... suddenly, now it seems we're back to earlier episodes from the middle of the series and we didn't get the very last episode which I believe is Carrie finally getting her man Mr. Big and ... I think???... leaving NY and her apt.

Could someone please fill me in here. I need to know whether to call local station and blast them. What exactly was the last episode? It didn't end w/ Big coming to Paris to get her and her returning to NYC did it? I thought there was more to it than that, I thought the loose ends of their relationship wouldve been resolved a little better. But maybe I'm wrong, maybe that was it?

t.i.a.

They set up a household where the four of them did unspeakably nasty things for each other and left their webcams running

Miranda comes out of the closet - she admits she has been a lesbian all this time, but was lying to herself. She moves is with a girlfriend and they raise a son together.

Charlotte has a nervous breakdown after realizing she can never have children. She spends most of the last season in a mental hospital.

Samantha develops a nasty cocaine habit, and ends up selling her body for drugs. The others last see her on the street being picked up by a john, and believe she has been murdered.

And Carrie - she knows she really wants to get married, but she still cant decide who she wants to get married to. She has some wild flings with several new characters. In the final episode, she invites them all to a party and says she will marry the first one who buys her a pair of Minolo Blahnik Mary Janes.

8. Okay - !!!***SPOILER***!!! !!!!WARNING - SPOILER!!!!!
Carrie moves to Paris with Mikhail Baryshnikov (I know I butchered the spelling) and he turns out to be a real dick. She's lonely and feeling bad, and Mr. Big arrives to save the day. They go back to NY and live happily ever after. He is pretty farking handsome, isn't he?

Miranda moves to Brooklyn, and she and her husband take in his mother, who is in the early stages of Alzheimer's. Miranda is last seen giving her M-I-L (Anne Meara) a bath.

I think Samantha is recovering from cancer, and still with the young stud. And I think Charlotte is finally pregnant too, although I can't remember that part as well.

Oh, and then they all died.

10. Aha!
Thanks, I'd forgotten about that! I knew that somehow they got that baby issue resolved, I forgot about the adoption.

12. Carrie finally finds out at least the first name
of the guy who has been knocking the back out of it for years pretty much whenever he feels like calling and then splits without even a goodbye.

His name is, aptly, John.

But seriously, when you look like Mr. Big, does it really matter what your first name is? ;)

Look! Here's his pic:

11. No no no you all have it wrong
The girls all end up going on a cruise together, and the boat capsizes killing them all. Carrie is more worried about ruining her Manolo Blahniks than she is drowning.
