I bought the coolest books on vacation
I bought a hardcover of the complete works of Shakespeare for 6 dollars. So far this week, I've read Henry V, Much Ado About Nothing, Richard II, Henry IV Part I, and have started Henry IV Part II.

I also found a 3rd Edition Norton's Anthology of English Literature in harcover for only 7 dollars.

Sweet.

3. You should have been in the "do you like to read plays" thread.

It was quite a lively conversation! According to aquart, you should put Measure for Measure on your list:

"Take another look at Measure for Measure, which has a scene with a nun on bended knee using the language of a blowjob, followed by Angelo's monolog to his penis."

4. I don't think most people
realise how truly hilarious a lot of Shakespeare's humour is. I intend to read the entire collection over the next month or so, so I'll be getting to Measure.

I have both of those books. Maybe I should re-read them. :hi:

6. Thanks, cally
Had to take a break, for a variety of reasons.

You should have seen the looks I was getting on the plane with my 5 pounds o'Shakespeare, though. :D

7. I'm so jealous!
One can never have too many copies of Shakespeare, AFAIC.
