Poll question: Who is the better vocalist?
Long story made short...

I was working at a yacht and country club one summer and 2 of my co-workers got into an argument about who was the better singer with the best vocal range.

Robert Plant. Steve Perry may have had better range with that high-pitched singing voice. Still, I give it to Plant for 'spirit'. My two cents.

4. In this race, it's Plant by a bulging tonsil
Perry had a great rock-ballad voice, but the pipes didn't run very deep. One of the hardest rockers Journey ever did was "La Do Da," and he just wasn't up to it.

6. I personally like Perry's voice better than Plant's
However, I think both of them are great rock vocalists, so I'll abstain from voting.

8. Of the two mentioned...
Plant hands down, even though Perry's voice is decent...but between the two, Plant for sure...:)
