My grocery store has redecorated... they also now sell something new:

JELLY BABIES! :woohoo:

There's a whole great aisle devoted to foreign foods and they thought nice enough to sell jelly babies after all this time!

12. He's a geek....
Of course he thinks jelly babies are better than sex.

I have one thing to say to him - "They told us the Evil One eats babies! And it's true!"

Now Hula Hoops are an entirely different matter - they are better than sex.

4. They're semi-sweet candies:
Lemon, orange, lime, strawberry, and blackberry currant (my favorite flavor).

Don't let 'lemon' and 'lime' fool you. They are by no means sour or tart!

The best part is, they aren't overtly sweet either. They're "sweet to a point", which to me makes them taste even sweeter.

And there's this texture to them - two actually. The real jelly part is on the inside. The outside is (in texture only) similar to a Jelly Belly brand jelly bean.

Highly underrated and it's awesome for them to be seen in a mainstream store! :D

10. Oh drool! I love those things too!
And, yeah, gaining the weight is fun - ridding it without throwing one's metabolism into Reverse is another issue altogether... :(

13. Me too!
I've been reading reviews and even the critical slamming pieces still admit it's damn good.
And I want to see the scene where Captain Jack snogs the Doctor :)

Khash.

(After "Damaged Goods", RTD can do no wrong in my book. Plus, an episode written by Paul Cornell?)

14. I must admit I'm not crazy about the biker look though.
There's something so wrong about Dr. Who in a biker jacket. He better still be quirky.

15. Yeah, I know.
Kinda set me off balance too. A leather jacket? What happened to the Edwardian thang? But from what I heard it works.

And in the The Clockwise Man it's used to good effect. His jacket gets torn and he's facing death. And swears he will not die wearing a leather jacket that doesn't look good anymore. That still cracks me up. "I may die but I'm gonna look damn good when I do it" - very Doctorish.

18. I'm sure I will
The premise sounds exactly like Paul.

I adore the man's writing. I've known Paul for years and he's really a nice, happy, upbeat kinda guy. But his writing can surely put you through an emotional wringer.

Like in Revelation. Where Ace is shown a rose and offered the choice between a nice happy carefree life or remaining herself and being conflicted and emotional and unhappy but aware and she grasps the thorns and says "I choose pain". Or later when she is given that wonderful life and sees Manisha and realizes how pointless happiness is if it means being unaware of what happened to Manisha.

Paul being militant: :"Their are people you can't know, books you can't read, songs you can't hear, not if you want to be a part of the world" And it's a battle cry against that kind of world.

So in short, I'm looking forward to "Father's Day".

Khash.
