I thought I post a few pictures about the Indianapolis 500, since I'm from Indy and I'm big fan of the race.

1. My mom was born and raised in Indy

She lives far from there now but she will not miss the 500, ever. Some of her best memories were at the
Indianapolis 500. Congratulations on your 500th post!

2. My wife and I went to Indy some time ago to watch the Colts play on...

...a Monday night. Jeff George was their QB at that time.

We loved the city. The bars and shops around the stadium were cool. We had breakfast at a restaurant close to the stadium that specialized in crepes. I don't know if it's still there, but they had a crepe stuffed with raspberry and cream cheese, that was to-die-for!

I liked Indy.

3. I live a few miles East...

of Indy. Not a 500 fan, but love F1, even thru all the ruckus and mess of last year's fiasco.
