I had to get up early (about half past ten) in order to get to the cobblers, but then it turned out that I didn't really....so I ended up with lots more Saturday than usual :D

I made a mad dash round one earlier - I hate those places and really start to become very misanthropic if I'm trapped in one for more than about quarter of an hour.

Oh, and I've had a bit of a nuisance with unidentified transactions on my bank account - which means that I'm sine plastic to pay for things for a week :grr: - actually probably a good thing as I won't be able to spend money on-line.

So I really need to go. Sugar is one of those items you have for ever and suddenly it is no more. The store we usually use is very tolerable, but closed on Sunday. And I will NOT go to the other one nearby. It makes me lose my religion. (The washing machine already did that once today and I was going to try not to swear at inanimate objects during Lent.)

If you can't buy CDs online I think you might end up with a lot of money at the end of this month. ;)

Yesterday was actually the first time I've taken cash out of a bank account over the counter - I've had a cash-card since I was 12 and a debit-card since I was 16 - all very wierd this using cash thing.

As for Messiaen - it just proves my thesis that he should be added to the Holy Trinity....okay maybe a tad less blasphemy during Lent would be a good idea.
