I think the crowd expected more stand up, but it was all about the music and real people. Best concert movie ever. We had a packed house and they were rowdy before it started, ten minutes in and everyone was just...enthralled. He's a genius.

I'm 17, he's 44. He is a big fan of Chappelle's Show (as am I) but he really isn't into alternative hip-hop (he prefers the more 'mainstream' garbage).

It really was a great movie. Mos Def, Kweli, and Ded Prez were especially good. The best thing, however, was getting dad to admit that Mos Def is better than 50 Cent. It was worth it just for that. :P
