My son ripped the damned R off my keyboard!
I put it back, but now it sticks, and/or doesn't register when you hit it,

Damn it!!!!!!!!!

This is a brand fucking new computer.

He's on this fucking computer table every chance he gets.

He was in his room, my husband called to find out if we had taco shells, I went to look, then came back and he was on top of the computer eating the damned R!

Now he's screaming in time-out.

We can't have one nice, new, un-broken thing in this house for more than a couple weeks.

Might as well just throw it all out the god damned window.

3. In all seriousness, my condolences to you and your keyboard.
I'm amazed how he could get it out... still, modern day items lack the longevity of yesterday's items.

6. Thanks.
I just need to remember, some people don't even have computers, o apatments, or little boys.

I'm very lucky, and almost ready to get him out of time-out.

8. Thankfully, keyboards are cheap

Sounds like your kid is well on his way to becoming a computer genius! Just make sure he doesn't eat the Windows key. You don't know where that's been! ;)

14. Buwahahahahaha!
This is exactly why I recommend against people using their own money to buy laptops: they can be expensive to fix (believe me, I provided laptop support for years).

Find out if your laptop is still covered by warranty (you may have to fudge a little about what happened or the warranty won't cover this). If not, then the keyboard is a separate piece, but you'll probably have to pay someone to swap it out (it can get tricky) and that's the expensive part. :(
