4. "Countdown to Ecstacy"........
It has the greatest concentration of my favs, such as "Your Gold Teeth", "ShowBiz Kids" and "Bodhisattva" (which I am currently trying to teach myself to play on guitar). But I really couldn't pick an all-time fave, I like them all pretty much equally.

5. "Aja"
There is no finer collection of music on the planet. Well, Steely Dan music, that is.

9. That'd be "Aja" for 1000, Alex.
The title track and "Josie" alone is reason enough to own and rever this one. SD's writing and production on this gem is otherworldly.

10. I picked Katie Lied...
at the time I guess I was turning a corner in my musical tastes, the jazz influence and meticulous sound mixing was unlike anything else happening in rock. It had a tremendous influence on what I'd be listening to in the years that followed.
