I'm starting a picture thread
I think that everyone should start one at least once. My husband has been helping me go through some old records that my mom gave me when my dad died last year. This picture is one of the things he found. I'll let you guess which one is me. lol (I do NOT remember ever seeing this before)! Ok what do you have to share?

101. I used to.
I'm recovering from a psoas muscle strain in my left hip, and haven't been able to walk without pain for a while, unfortunately.

It's been a couple of months since I've worked out regularly and I feel totally out of shape. Sigh...

The good news is I'm getting better, slowly but surely. I'll get back into the gym eventually...

Thanks for the compliment, though.

Her wedding was great fun. We started the party about two hourse before the ceremomy, broke for a few minutes so she and Tim could get hitched and then went back to partying. LeftyKid ran around in his costume because it was on Halloween. This is him that night:

LeftyKid is just adorable! He's got the most incredible blue eyes. :loveya:

I love unconventional weddings! A few years ago, I went to a costume party wedding on Hallowe'en. The bride and groom were Antony and Cleopatra.

I went as a 1940's babe, and my ex went as Fagin. You could just come as you were, in jeans if you wish...a very laid back, incredibly fun wedding.

I your mom and her new husband will have a long and happy life together. :-)

Totes all my gear, runs in cold, wet, hot, dry, name it weather, doesn't do awful on gravel (the perpetual road repair substance of on-road Alaska) -

puppies like it cold!! They really don't like to run above zero, it's too hot for them. But they'll do their best and if you fall asleep at the "wheel", you don't tip the whole rig over! (usually)

65. Yes you are right
I have no clue why the bow or that "face". I thought it was so weird that I just couldn't stop laughing at it. No wonder I'd never seen it before, it was one of those "grandma" didn't brag about. lol

What cute child you were and your mom was a living doll. I thought the one with your grandmother in the cart was fascinating. I'm glad you shared those.

Good thing you live in another country Heidi. I think posting that much cuteness is illegal in the U.S. nowadays. At least in the lower 48, anyway. :silly:

Ten years is not that long ago in the scheme of things, at least once you are 20. I'll guess you look about the same now.

I love your pictures. I love peoples childhood pictures, they are always so tender and sweet. I tend to believe that the child is still inside smiling through our experiences and older bodies.
