23. Thanks for the kind thoughts.

Overall, things have gone well. Our son is wonderful with a great personality already. We did find out that he has an enzyme issue. His body does not do well with breaking down dairy/breast milk. It took the hospital two weeks to notify us of this. He was being breastfed but was essentially being starved because of this medical issue. His weight began dropping and wailed all of the time. Now we know why. I am livid about the hospital's slackness and plan to follow-up more with them. He is on a soy based formula and is doing great.

26. That cinnamon color's a giveaway

The only two large shorebirds that are that color are Marbled Godwit and Long-Billed Curlew, and you can't MISS the beak on the curlew. Huge and decurved. The godwit has a long, straight bill with a dark tip.
