We were just watching the animated Ramayana, an Indian/Japanese collaboration (Japanese animators). Unfortunately the DVD is in Hindi and there are no subtitles...

I've been wondering about learning Malayalam - yes I know I'm odd.

I'm just wondering what a mixture of Japanese and Indian film-making styles would make :crazy:

I know "dik na?" (how much?) and "bhai, chalo!" (let's go!) and that's about the extent of my Hindi.

The film itself is a regular Japanese style cartoon, it's just telling an Indian tale and is spoken in Hindi.
