topical movies were box office failures. No, that's just right-wing spin. These movies have done really well. They may not be pulling it in like LOTR or Star Wars, but they have made considerable money because people are interested.

PS. I love George Clooney. I didn't think I liked him ages ago, because he seemed to cavalier about relationships. But now I understand his attitude better, and it isn't what I thought it was. And of course I really appreciate his positions and courage now to talk about issues people don't want to deal with.
