8. I actually think
that "Crash" is, in fact, the better of the two movies. But I'm sure someone will soon shoot me for that opinion.

Also, I think it's funny that people think that "Crash" _isn't_ a progressive/political movie. It's a movie that has to do with racism and race relations, and now those issues don't push the envelope enough for us? Whew, I can't keep up.

And it forces people to come to terms with their own prejudices, but people don't like to do it or admit to it.

For example...I have no problem admitting that I thought the hispanic locksmith was going to do something bad based on his ethnicity (tattoos, etc.). I can't help this, maybe I'm different from other folks, but unfortunately my background has led me to be this way. At least I can acknowledge the fact that I think this way and have the ability to openly refute it and believe otherwise.
