Would you eat purple sausage? Apparently folks in New Zealand are trying to get their hands on these.

"Purplos" is a brand of cocktail sausage targeted towards children. Billed as the world's first purple sausage, only the casing (which is edible of course), is purple.

That's like blue fries, green ketchup, etc. Kids will eat those foods when they're thier normal color. Let's try a little food color to convince them to eat veggies or whole wheat bread (which they'll eat anyhow if the parents do, but I digress.)

5. I don't think my kids would eat a purple hotdog.

It would look too unusual to them and they would be turned off to it. They don't like veggies with sauces or cheese and any food with coloring in it.
