School cops punk'd by explosive message

ATHENS, Ohio -- Authorities shut down four buildings at Ohio University after police noticed a sticker that said ''this bike is a pipe bomb'' before finding out the message was the name of a punk rock band, a university spokesman said.

Maybe they should charge the cops with vandalism for destroying personal property.

I mean yeah, the dude was stupid to put that particular sticker on his bike, but stupidity isn't a crime.

But he faces up to 6 months in jail, for a fairly clever use of a band sticker? And I thought shit couldn't get any more ridiculous than it has been recently.

...if someone were going to use a bike as a pipe bomb, why would they put a fucking sticker saying so on said bike?

Analogous: "Excuse me officer, I need to murder the resident of blah blah blah whatever street, and I'm afraid I've gotten a bit lost. Can you help me out with some directions so I can expedite this little murder I'm fit'na commit?"

One of the tracks is called "Car Bomb" and with the album, when you could buy albums, had a "Car Bomb" bumper sticker. You could order them online, but they have since been taken off per 9/11.
