but if there is detailed evidence that he was injecting substances that are performance enhancing then maybe there should be an asterisk. At the very least, his records are always going to carry the stigma of performance enhancement.

Baseball will probably not do anything as the drugs he took were "legal" at the time he took them.

IF it is shown that he took steroids, the way it was shown, for example, that Pete Rose bet on baseball, then evey homerun he hit while using steroids is illegal and should be stricken from the record.
