My mom, who spent 30 years as a legal secretary had a 100 WPM typing speed with 100% accuracy. It was amazing to watch her type, her fingers moved so fast, they would blur.

That's the first time I've "typed for speed" in YEARS! (I used to type over 100 wpm - and that was on an IBM Selectric! It must run in the family, though; my aunt used to take dictation on an old Royal manual typewriter! I have NO idea how she did that.)

I just discovered this last week, when I was applying for a position and they required 70-80wpm. I took the test and surprised myself with 82wpm and 100%accuracy! I had no idea. Of course, I make liberal use of the backspace key.
