1. You can't have babies.
You don't have a womb. Where's the fetus going to gestate? Are you going to keep it in a box?

10. I personaly think that the last line is the best of that skit.
"It's symbolic for our struggle against repression!"
<mumbling> "It's symbolic for his struggle against reality."

14. John Cleese is an absolute master of comedic delivery.
"No one is to stone anyone until I blow this whistle. Even if he does say Jehova!"

19. He sure is
and not only in Life of Brian but also in other movies. He is hilarious. I love this guy. Even the animal shows he makes with BBC are cracking me up.

But my favorite scene in the movie is:

BRIAN:
You don't need to follow me. You don't need to follow anybody! You've got to think for yourselves. You're all individuals!

FOLLOWERS:
Yes, we're all individuals!

BRIAN:
You're all different!

FOLLOWERS:
Yes, we are all different!

DENNIS:
I'm not.

The meaning behind that - just great!!!

37. Oh yes, absolute brilliance
And of course:

All right, but apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, a fresh water system, and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?

27. Maybe not
I've seen "Brian" about 12 times, as compared to more than 50 for "Grail."

I most recently watched it last night, since I just got the DVD, along with "Meaning of Life."

Now all I need is "And Now For Something Completely Different" to complete the collection. :woohoo:

31. The only Python I've seen in German
are bits of the two episodes for German teevee.

30. We'll have to fix that
The "get" part, not your lack of ill will.

Tell me...

What is your name?

What is your quest?

What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?

My quest is....liberty and justice for all. (this may change by tomorrow)

And I have no idea what the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow is.

35. You are Buffy, Slayer of Fundies
You seek the Holy Grail.

And when confronted with the swallow question, you are to respond, "What do you mean? An African swallow or a European swallow?"

Thus endeth the lesson.
