Peter Sallis appreciation thread

One of the greatest comic actors in the UK. Hopefully, you've seen "Last of the Summer Wine" on PBS.
He is Norman Clegg on that or "Cleggy." But he of course is also the voice of Wallace. "Cracking Toast Gromit."

1. I just love that show. Cleggie is so sweet, too.
I thought it was cool that they brought him to the Oscars.!!

3. He was in a Doctor Who story...
"The Ice Warriors" (1967)

Also slated to be in "Enlightenment" (1983) but wasn't able to do the part...

5. Norman Clegg, as was!
Wandering a Yorkshire village with his two best pals, trying to avoid trouble ...and somehow inevitably finding it.

9. Remember the time they invented the bed/car?
Marina saw it speed by and said, "Oh Howard we must get one of those!"

Of course that episode was called "Oh Howard we must get one of those!"
