Anyone want to cheer me up with some kitty photos?
Edited on Wed Mar-08-06 11:49 PM by funkybutt
We're displaced from our home in New Orleans. A couple of weeks ago, we had to put our 10 yr old cat to sleep. We lost all our stuff and our house is in disrepair (excrutiatingly slow progress) but the fact that "WE" i:e my SO, our cat and our dog were still together really has helped me through this ordeal so far. Now the fact that we'll never "all" be moving back to the house together is really hitting home. I'm thinkin about rescuing a kitty from a local shelter soon. I've always had a cat in my life. So would it be too much to ask that my fellow DUers post their pics in this thread...and they don't have to be cats...any pet will do.

Thanks in advance :hi:

Bella

6. Been thinkin about you...
here's the last of my 3 old kitties. We took a vacation and were afraid he would get too sad without his dog pal so he went too. He had a great time. Got to eat burgers from the take out window. (I think the dog had been telling him about those when we would get back from shopping in town ;) ) He walked along with me 'n the 90 Pound Hound. Slept in the tent with us. Traveled in the car like a trooper.

Here's the little girl who was born a couple weeks after the big boy passed. The 90 Pound hound was NOT a happy dog without a cat. He damn near turned cartwheels when he realized we were bringing this lass home!

He loves being the BIG brother! She decided he was pretty warm to snuggle

Took many pics of the two together. Good way to show her growth. Haven't put the latest online yet. This is her at about 6 months

9. OMG that is so awesome!
thanks for sharing :)

I have a three year old chocolate lab. I don't have any current pics of her online but she weighs about 70lbs. She still looks for the kitty. I can ask her "where's the kitty" and she looks over to the spots that Bella loved the best. They got along well, but of course, the lab was only about 8lbs when we brought her home and Bella was her big Sister.

Here's a pic of Lola from when she was a baby

19. It's a cute one
The first three are our current cats Max, Meiko and Kahn. The fourth one is Orion, the brother to Meiko. He got out one day and ran away or was stolen, we're not sure. The other two are just random internet kitties.

:hi:
