Do You Feel Like You Are Caught in Groundhog Day?
That is what my life feels like right now.

Somehow I need to break out of this and get going. But I feel like my feet are stuck in mud and I can't move.

I think it may be the time of year. Once it warms up a little I will start to feel better.

2. Ah, spring.
We were supposed to have spring thunderstorms here yesterday but they went around us. I was kind of disappointed. We did have a tornado watch on last nite until 8. But not even a tiny bit of rain came our way.

3. In AZ we have hummers all year.
A few females are nesting in my backyard. Sometimes I can find the nests but they're so small they're hard to find. I like to know about where the nests are so I don't disturb momma and baby.

4. They're so entertaining.
If you watch the females you might get a general idea of her nest sight.
However they are so fast you may have to watch one location for days!

I've read about the wide variety of birds in AZ. What are the birds like in early August out there?

6. Hot and looking for shade.... just kidding! LOL
I live in the city of Glendale now so I don't see as many different birds as I did when I lived near Tucson. We were in a less settled area and saw many more species then we do now. But hummingbirds are plentiful and I keep their feeders filled. I love to sit on the patio and watch them bicker over the feeders. We were near a migration path in Tucson and in Aug the hummers could empty 3 feeders in 3 days. That's a lot of sugar water! There were so many in our yard it looked like a swarm of bees!! I miss that.

5. I have Ground Hog Weekends every weekend
Each Friday the weekend rolls around, and I plan for it to be the most perfect, satisfying weekend. And Sunday evening I realize it wasn't, and then the next weekend I try again...and again...
