crossing with the light, but the car did not hit me (due to me having the sense to dive) is that driver liable for medical treatment even though she did not hit me?

1. Don't know but here is a gentle bump to the top.
Any legal beagles out there?

2. I think if you had to take evasive maneuvers, the car driver
can be charged with non-contact collision. I was told by a police officer that if a car forced me to swerve to avoid being hit and I fell, that was considered a non-contact collision, but that was a police officer and not a lawyer. The car is not allowed to cross through a crosswalk when a pedestrian is in it, so that would be in your favor alone.

3. Yes, Pedestrians always have the right of way
We are never allowed to try and run them over no matter how bad we may want to.

Seriously though, did you get the plate and do you have a witness, that would help. Though I am not a legal person either.

4. Yes.
Did you get the driver's lisence number? I hope you filed a report.

Most importantly, I hope you're okay.

T.
