Anyone here know the election rules for North Carolina

Because I discovered that in my district, the state representative was a republican who ran unopposed (libertarian candidates aren't actual candidates). I am going to be 21 (turning 21 on dec 9, shameless b-day plug) during the elections next year and was wondering if anyone knew the minimum age necessary to run for the state legislature of nc.

I checked the election rules website of nc and it only said state senators had to be 25, which doesn't help me right now...

1. NC Constitution doesn't mention

age for State House, only Senate.

Sec. 7. Qualifications for Representative.

Each Representative, at the time of his election, shall be a qualified voter of the State, and shall have resided in the district for which he is chosen for one year immediately preceding his election.

So possibly there isn't one, except to be 18. :shrug:
