Well, looks like that's another cold, hard winter put to bed.
The cherry trees are in bloom, and I expect the Bradford Pears will be bustin' out in a few days. The trees are greening, as are some early lawns. The spring flowers are in full color, and the temperature is breezy and moderate.

I'm glad to put another snow season behind me.

(Oops, forgot to mention I live in Dallas, and I think it may have gotten close to freezing at least twice over the season. Damn, how rough is that!!!!!!!!)

1. Wait! Wait!
I need to rain on your parade. :P

I'm out of Fort Worth and I remember getting snow there in late March of 1987.

3. not so fast
today, in Minneapolis, it was 48°. But by next Monday, we're supposed to get a blizzard. March is a very unpredictable month.

Today it was beautiful. I took a long walk and listened to the birds and the water running in the storm drains from the snow melt... but it ain't gonna last.

6. The boys hockey tourney is on-- a blizzard will be here shortly
one last one before it's safe, and it always seems to hit during the hockey or basketball tournament.

7. That's what happens when you live north of the snow line
IMO you gets what you pays for.

I moved south from northern Indiana and Ohio in my mid-20s and never looked back. Just 'cause I was raised in white-out country doesn't mean I ever wanted to spend my whole life there...

5. We had three days of clouds this year.
Once there were sprinkles of rain.

Sprouts everywhere one looks.
