Sally was damn lucky. Her team lost and she was sent to Exile Island, earning automatic immunity from the vote at Tribal Council.

I've read many boards that constantly diss Dan. I can't diss him-he's a geek's dream. No way I could have voted out a former astronaut!

1. Those guys are dumb

They are too close to the merge to keep the strong players. I thought for sure the 2 young guys would use this chance to vote off Terry. Of course he would then have used the immunity idol and then probably Dan would have gone anyway but it would have been high drama.

I liked Dan too. He had the fairest idea...2vs2 and then some kind of battle.

Now no Survivor for 3 weeks...that sucks!

2. That really does suck!

And the medical emergency that they allude to should be interesting. I know who the spoiler boards say it will be.

Dan seems like the kind of person you could sit down w/ in real life, ask him a question about his job(which I would-either the old job or his work in robotics), and he would answer it in the simplist terms in order to keep you in the conversation. He seems like a good person.

3. what happens on exile island?

How long do they stay there? Is there any food or water?

4. They stay for three days.

They are not allowed to have any interaction w/ their teammates except for reward and immunity challenges. They have been given a flint to start a fire and a water bucket to collect water-but the water must be boiled. They have no shelter and they must search for their own food.

The positive side: there is an immunity idol hidden on the island. The person who finds it can let everyone know they have it or keep it a secret. They can use it at any time up until the Final Four-especially if they are initially voted out. One time only use though and only one idol hidden.

The negative side to the immunity idol: someone else has already found it and the other players do not know this. Anyone going to Exile Island will keep looking for the idol.
