7. Ah. I am resisting getting new ones, that I need due to older age
and needing bifocals...:(

My current pair are old friends (18 years old)...

BTW, when I bought them in 1988, it was Feb14th weekend special: I got two prescription glasses for $25 dollars apiece....

I had not had photogrey before, so I only made one pair that way, unfortuenately... Now I will never get anything else, assuming I ever do get new glasses...

11. oh no no no no no
No no no no windows open EVER.

You see if you open the windows the spiders can get in. No no windows open EVER---okay sometimes in the middle of the day because as we all know the spiders don't do anything during the day.

The preceding was brought to you by my wife's all encompassing arachnophobia.

12. Good thing she wasn't in Midlothian last weekend.
My husband spent the entire weekend shredding. I had put old bank statements, etc., in a rubbermaid container because I didn't want to throw them away, and we had a shitty shredder. So, I bought a heavy duty one and he shredded to his heart's content.

The box was FULL of spiders. Ick. Ick. Ick. Better him than me.

13. Ewwwwwww
no thanks even from me.

We have a storage/crawl space under our staircase. She wants me to use it to get some stuff put away but I have yet been unable to figure out a way to secure the stuff from the spiders I have seen in there. Of course I can't tell her about this because if I did she would never come down into the den...hold it I might have something here...ACC tournie this weekend....big TV all to myself....no Food Network running on a loop.......hmmm spiders are my friend.

18. Scuze me...
There will be no dusting off of golf clubs or gassing up of scooters...you will be raking leaves out of the garden, and then hauling them to the dump, after which you will then get out the extension ladder to replace the burnt out bulb in the halogen lamp outside, and while said ladder is out, you will then use it to see how to replace the leaky gutter over the back stairs, and while you are up there, clean out the gutter. Then move the ladder over to the living room and wash the windows, then to the dining room and do those too. I will be in the house cleaning out the basement, and doing laundry, and washing the inside windows, and vacuuming and dusting, and don't even get me stared on your office!!! :D

we had rain, rain, hail, and more rain.

the south doesn't really have pretty winters.

speaking of which, we had tornadoes last night!

what ticks me off is that the news says "Power failures and wind damage were reported in Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee on Thursday."

Alabama had horrible wind last night! i could barely open our front door without it slamming on me and we had tornado warnings and watches last night. The power was out for a while too, but that didn't stop the stupid city alarm was going off all night and i couldn't sleep.
