What's your all-time favorite Seinfeld episode?
I can't help myself--I am so flooded with relief right now that I figured I would post my first truly pointless Lounge thread!!!

My favorite is... ooh, so many to choose from... I have to say that I honestly love the Soup Nazi episode, but also the one where Jerry's girlfriend looks like a completely different person in different light--too funny and that is the one with Festivus as well (the name of the episode is The Strike, which is my favorite holiday.

"It's a Festivus for the rest-of-us!" Wiki actually has an entry on Festivus, which just rocked my world http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Festivus.

What's yours?

1. So many good ones
Kramer putting his clothes in the pizza oven
Costanza doing a real-life Frogger with the Frogger machine to keep his high score
Kramer getting nailed poaching lobsters from the traps
Jon Voight's car
Costanza goes on a bad-boy streak, gets picked up in the police station by his father
Frank Costanza cooking for the WWII Veterans
"Oooh, you're too good for the Early Bird special now?"
RISK
Elaine's dance gets bootlegged and sold on the street

5. So many to choose from, but "The Wizard" is classic.
Edited on Fri Mar-10-06 06:40 PM by Starbucks Anarchist
It's the one where Kramer runs for condo president with Jerry's dad's help in Florida and where Elaine doesn't know if her boyfriend is black, white or mixed race.

EDIT: Also, the "Jerk Store" episode was a classic.

6. I like the one where George accidentally strangles a prostitute...
...and he and Kramer hide her in the trunk of Jerry's car, but they don't tell Jerry. Then, a couple of weeks later, Jerry and Elaine are in his car, and he asks her "do you think it stinks?" and she says "oh, I think it stinks." And then Kramer gets in the car and he does that silly convulsive thing because it smells so bad. "Jerry! I'm too delicate for prison!"

Hilarity.

... and they never mention exactly what they're not doing.

Brilliant, brilliant stuff.

"Master of my domain? I'm king of the county."

That or the one where George is mistaken for a Neo-Nazi leader in the back of a limo.

Though it's safe to say that if Puddy, J. Peterman, or Frank Costanza made an appearance, it was classic, haha.

Also love the one with the contest. And the one when Jerry accidentally drops his girlfriend's toothbrush into the toilet. And the one when George finds the place where all the really hot chicks hang out and Jerry dates "Man-hands."

Hype?

Of COURSE...the whole Seinfeld legend is FILLED TO OVERFLOWING with HYPE.

But that ONE EPISODE...from the final season...lived UP to all of the hype.

GENIUS. 23 minutes of PURE COMEDIC GENIUS.

I CANNOT wait for the Season 9 DVD.

I think Seinfeld has got to be the most quotable sitcom in TV history. Jerry and the gang did leave on a high note, IMO.
