p.s. I've been trying to find a particular set of photos online ... no luck, but I know that they were featured in a fall 2000 issue of Biography magazine. They compared the desks of Al Gore and George W. Bush (the owners were not present). Your workspace looks a lot more like Gore's -- lots of books, interesting pictures and artifacts, etc. -- Bush's was bare, except for a couple of slim reports and an autographed baseball.

You can barely see it in my picture but it is a gray crock that says "BRAINS" on it.

8. It's too confusing to tell

Every couple weeks, one of my kids gets upset with my chaos and cleans my desk off for me. Believe it or not, Cody cleaned it off for me yesterday. He came in today, took one look, rolled his eyes and said "I don't know why I even bothered". LOL
