Freeper encounter

I was covering an event and there was a protester. So, like all the media went and talked to him.
When the rest of the media cleared out, I handed my phone to him so my ND could interview him and tape it.
So, as that is happening, this fucking firefighter dress in his formal gear comes over to me.
"I'm surprised you're giving this guy the time of day. You've got the premier and the mayor up there and you're wasting time with this guy, what the hell is that?"
I was busy trying to work, so I said, "I don't tell you how to do your job, so just stand over there." and point about 20 feet away.
So, then he tries to play the free speech card.
"No, we have something called free-speech."
I was about to say, "that doesn't entitle you to be an asshole."
But then I saw the guy was handing me my phone back.
Then I hear him say, "This is a joke, you're a joke."
Fuck, I wanted to hit him. But I had to go on air in two minutes so I couldn't even tell him to fuck off and start a scene.
Fucking asshole, he was trying to pick a fight or something.

The media's role is not to go around taking purdy pictures of political photo ops...

fucking asswad, I hope I see him again.

I consider this guy a freeper cause he's an idiot.
