About ten miles up the hill where I used to live, this would be no big deal, but it just doesn't happen here very often. Right smack in downtown!!!

1. 23 degrees at my place this morning

I think I might have frozen fish fingers in my ponds. Still haven't been able to unfreeze the recycling pump. The Well didn't freeze this time, though. Oh yeah, there's shite stuff on the ground left over from yesterday.

What a difference a few miles makes in the Sierra Nevadas, both in weather and eco-systems! :) You've gotta love California. It's one of the most ecologically diverse places on earth. I'm partial to the mountain and ocean habitats. The desert can be interesting, too.
