10. LOL, she does doesn't she...
These two kitties fell into our lap, so to speak, their mother dropped by the house, and we took her in, were we in for a surprise when we found out she was pregnant, VERY pregnant. So, we set up a spot in another room, and out come 4 kitties, two long haired Males and two short haired females. As soon as their mother was weaned, we sent her to the vet to be fixed, had that done, then, in a week, she was gone, just snuck out of the house and disappeared, its been a year and a half and we still couldn't find her. Its one of those things that just happens, but she was feral, and I'm glad we at least got her fixed, she was small, and underweight when we found her. We gave the two males to some friends, who say they are HUGE now, and the two females, Sylvester and Reeses, we kept, and they are STILL the same size they are in this pic, which is almost a year old now. Takes after thier mother in sized, but she was a longhaired tortoiseshell, still miss her a little bit. :( But at least she came with presents! :)

17. Torties often seem to run small, and they are ALWAYS a bit mystic!
My closest cat companion was a very small torty who lived to almost 21. She was so agreeable that when I snuggled her at less than a year and said I loved her small little self, she said, 'OK, I'll always be little for you'. She had the heart of a lion (and a similar appetite) though. She was a good cat mommy and a great best friend. The bond we had was extraordinary and seems to have lasted beyond her life time. Sometimes I think her spirit is around coaching the latest cat who is suddenly taking on some of the old cat's more peculiar behaviors. Amazing critters.

You are most kind to take in and fix a stray. Her purpose may have been to bring those little beasties to watch over you. ;) Cats work in mysterious ways.

21. If you look at post seven...
You'll see our other tortie, and she is much larger than the stray was, we named the stray Snickers(see a theme there? :)), Cocoa, the Tortie is about the same size, maybe a pound heavier, than the black cat up there Kit Kat, she is a cutie.

Here's our kitten, The Wiley And Excellent Boy Cat Named Ginger (relaxing):

And his famous 'stairs' to the second level, so he doesn't have to jump the whole way up to the balcony:

So is Rufus Harley Firefly!

The 'stair' is pretty cool, and it's smooth now. (I took the pic when it was just made with a chainsaw.) My brother-in-law is good with it: http://www.turquois.ch/skulpturen.htm

Hardly great... I lived in Munich for almost a year... but so long ago, my German is quite rusty now. You have a very talented family.

27. Pfüati!
Munich? Great city in the most awkward German state ...

As for the talented family, that's true. My mother is a ceramic sculptor, my uncle is a sculptor, my wife is an excellent painter, and can you believe I can only photoshop the brazillion joke?

used to climb up onto the roof from the second floor balcony and even climbed up storm and gutter pipes and stuff, pretty wild cat.

23. Yes, they can easily do that.
Here, they have pretty easy access to the roof, so don't be surprised if a cat looks down at you from top of the house. ;)
