Anybody watching 60 Minutes II right now?
Its heartbreaking. Seeing all these US soldiers fresh from Iraq scarred forever, struck down in their prime just so Bush and his cronies could get their hands on Iraq.

My heart goes out to those soldiers. They were just doing what they thought was right.

1. Why are the anti-Bush stories always buried in 60 Minutes II?
While 60 Min. always carries the "mass graves" stories? Maybe that's too cynical but it seems that way.

2. it was horrifying
It made me so angry, to see the devastation to these guys' lives. The soldier whose body and face were burned...the mother, who has to dress his wounds. I just cannot fathom enduring this for oil.

5. Yes, saw that...
The poor guy was in the Iowa National Guard. No way that he imagined his life would take this turn a couple years ago. Damn this war and all wars!

I'm very sensitive, and some of that is more than I can bear to watch, so I keep it on in the background, and glance sometimes.

Rage.

I particularly appreciated the medic's response when the reporter asked him if the "glory had gone out of the war". The way the medic looked at him, I thought he might lunge at him and choke him! He gathered himself together, and just said, "IT's tragic". Well, I guess. Tragic, indeed.

I think it should have been required watching for every damned person who supported this abortion of a war.

7. One nurse in Germany had something interesting to say
She was working 12 hour days up until the major fight was over. And now she is STILL WORKING 12 hour days.

The Germany Hospital sounds like it has seen no change.
