about a husband and wife (Jack Weston and Peggie Cass) who adopt a family of performing chimps and raise them like human children. As a little kid, I contributed my own letter as part of a national writing campaign to keep that show on the air when it was suddenly cancelled after a couple of seasons. It was really over the top but a lot of fun.
