10. years ago I had a cat who would stretch asleep across my coffee table

friends and I would play a game and each in turn place an object on him - the winner would be the person who last put something on him before he got up; I tell you we would have ornaments, beer cans, loose change, you name it, piled all over him. Occasionally during the game he would lift his head and look back in annoyance yet return back to sleep. Sometimes the game lasted over an hour; it was extraordinary how much stuff we could pile on that cat.
